Bhanwar Malviya

Bhanwar Malviya is an organic chemist who left a postdoctoral research position at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, which he began in January 2025, to join Johannes Kepler University Linz's Institute of Organic Chemistry as an APART-USA fellow, a programme of the Austrian Academy of Sciences created specifically for postdoctoral researchers leaving American institutions amid the uncertainty affecting US science funding.

Malviya earned his PhD in organic chemistry from Mohanlal Sukhadia University in India, completing his doctoral work from 2017 to 2022. His research spans organic synthesis, electrochemical organic chemistry, continuous-flow chemistry, catalysis, and C–H functionalization, with applications in pharmaceutical and process chemistry.
