Summary

Abhishek Singh Dahiya is a nanoelectronics researcher who left a postdoctoral position at Northeastern University in Boston to join the Integrated Circuits Group at Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e) as an assistant professor in August 2026, one of 34 researchers awarded a grant through the Netherlands' Tulip Fund.

Dahiya earned his PhD in electronics from the GREMAN Laboratory at Université François Rabelais de Tours in France in 2016, and held postdoctoral research positions at Northeastern University, the University of Glasgow in the UK, and the IES institute of CNRS in France before joining TU/e. His nominated project, "2D Nanomaterials and Devices for Energy Efficient Sense and Computing," addresses the rapidly increasing energy demands of modern computing by exploring two-dimensional materials to create devices that integrate sensing, memory, and computing within the same platform, reducing the energy required to move and process data. His research spans nanoelectronics, flexible and printed electronics, low-dimensional materials, and resource-efficient manufacturing technologies.
