Summary
Wei Zhang is a chemist specializing in heterogeneous catalysis and sustainable chemistry who joined the Institute of Integrated Catalysis at the Pacific Northwest National Laboratory (PNNL) in the United States before returning to China to join East China Normal University (ECNU) as a faculty member.
Zhang earned his BSc in Applied Chemistry from Taiyuan University of Technology in 2012, his MSc in Applied Chemistry from East China Normal University in 2015, and his PhD in Chemical Engineering from the University of Amsterdam in the Netherlands in 2019. His research focuses on the design of heterogeneous catalysts and their application to sustainable and environmentally friendly chemical processes.
